UK Operator – William Hill – Moves to New Multi Brand Operating Structure

William Hill, the FTSE250 UK Bookmaker, has announced that it is planning to move to a new operating structure, which is a multi-brand structure. The new stricture is going to focus on delivering international digital growth on the long-term, and it is going to get the needed help from its new asset, the Malta Hub of Mr. Green.

William Hill – A New Approach to Its new Multi Brand Structure

William Hill has established a newly integrated team in Malta that is leading its expansions across different emerging territories. William Hill is now operating an expanded portfolio that has absorbed many brands like RedBet, Mr. Green and other iGaming domains. The International Managing Director of William Hill, Patrick Jonker, is going to lead the Malta integrated unit, he has also assumed the title of CEO for Mr. Green Malta, and he will head up the existing leadership team in Malta.

Patrick Jonker of William Hill commented on this new approach by saying that Mr. Green is undoubtedly a successful business and that he is looking towards working with the new Malta team to maximize its potential for growth and the growth of their leading products and brands.

William Hill is moving to complete the takeover of the assets of the MRG Group, as MRG completes its delisting from the SNE (Stockholm Nasdaq Exchange). On the other hand, William Hill will remain to benefit from the experience of Per Norman who continues as the Chairman of GLHF.gg Jointed Venture, which focuses on the fast-expanding and growing market of eSports.

Per Normal Talks about the New Strategy

Per Normal commented on the executive modifications by saying that the logic and strategy behind the acquisitions are clear. He added that the strength and the size of the brands are prerequisites for success in the future and that he is excited that he is a part of this while following the WH Group through his position on the Board in GLHF.

As for the new and enlarged digital strategy of the group is going to have Ulrik Bengtsson as its head, who is the previous Chief Executive of AB. He stated that they are making a limited amount of senior changes, but other than that, they are aiming to allow Mr. Green to keep going what it does best, which is growing on an international level. He also added that they are delighted that the group is going to continue benefiting from the expertise of Jesper Kärrbrink and Patrick Jonker.

888 Holdings to Acquire BetBright’s Sports Betting Platform

In acquisition related news, online gaming provider 888 Holdings has agreed to acquire BetBright’s platform for sports betting, the Irish Company, for a total of fifteen million pounds. The deal will see the integration of the Dublin Office of Bet right into 888 Holding’s Group. 888 has agreed to also buy some assets of Dedsert as a part of the deal. 888 Holding commented by saying that the group is going to start the integration of Bet Bright’s technology as soon as it becomes feasible.
