Alea Takes Over Ladylucks Online Casino

With over a million players, Ladylucks Online is one of the most popular mobile gaming sites in the UK. Realizing this, an online gambling group known as Alea has decided to take over Ladylucks; however, the price point is undisclosed.

Alea is based out of Barcelona and works all across Europe. They have announced that they will not be changing anything about the Ladylucks online brand, but they have started to completely revamp the website and update it with new, innovative games for its players.

Ladylucks Online Casino

It was first introduced to the online casino market in 2004 when brands were making a push to bring casinos into the digital world. What used to be Probability Plc, a London-AIM enterprise, brought Ladylucks online to life. However, in 2014, a former division of IGT Group known as GTECH took over the brand; this was part of a massive push to gain a total of £18 million in assets for the company.

The co-founder of Alea, Mr. Alexandre Tomic commented on Alea’s acquisition of the online casino saying, “This is a bold move from ALEA, and forms part of our battle plans for the UK market. Now that we have a licence from the Gambling Commission, we want to significantly grow our presence in the country.”

Mr. Tomic seems very hopeful and excited about Alea breaking into the UK market. In September, the company acquired their United Kingdom Gambling Commission Operator Licensing Approval which was a key component of their plans to expand.

The co-founder of Ladylucks online continued to comment on their mission to develop detailing that, “LadyLucks is already benefitting from the ALEA touch; we have quadrupled the number of game suppliers, rolled out games on desktop as well as mobile, and given players access to free spins for the very first time. We see huge potential for the LadyLucks brand to become a power player in UK online casino, and with the help of Sarah Quinan, our new LadyLucks  online Casino Manager will become a force to be reckoned with.”

Alea hired Mrs. Sarah Quinan to oversee the acquisition of Ladylucks online. Her job description also said that she would be responsible for monitoring Ladylucks’ growth and driving it further as the company gains some ground in the UK market. As the casino manager, Quinan will have a lot on her plate, but so far she has satisfied all of Alea’s hopes for this new business venture. She worked closely with Alea previously, for a few years. She helped the company develop their customer support channels, as well as driving its VIP programme until this past Summer.
